Among some of the drafts include a sequal to Among Men of Iron, which of course follows the brave men of the 24th Michigan from Gettysburg to the end of the war. Another potential title is a novel concerning WWII - with more information being announced with a video trailer or teaser (directed by Brent's brother Derek) released in late November.

It was a war that featured its share of heroes and cowards, of leaders and followers. While the 24th Michigan Infantry Regiment was just a small fragment of this massive conflict, the regiment's story is one of excitement, hardship, defeat, and victory, making it one that can be associated with any other unit, Union or Confederate that served in the American Civil War.
Follow this regiment through five pivotal characters, as the unit journeys from the streets of Detroit to some of the bloodiest battles of the war. Leaving their peaceful lives behind them at Lincoln's second call for volunteers, these Michiganders put their nation ahead of all else and marched into the raging conflicts that awaited them. With rifles in hand and the glorious flag at the helm, the 24th fought with the famed Iron Brigade to not just serve the country, but to earn the respect of its hardened comrades of that fabled brigade. And they gave their all and left nothing off the fields of battle to prove their worth. We challenge you to join them. Do you have what it takes?

Mr. Force's attention to detail and the amount of dedication he brings to getting the facts straight is very impressive for a work of historic fiction.
